Before you ride it’s always good to check the hardware attaching the wheels and trucks. Make sure everything is tight. Once the board and remote have been turned on, give it a little throttle whilst lifting the wheels off the ground to make sure the board is responding as it should. It’s also a good idea to check how much battery life you have, to make sure you have the range to make the journey.
If you are comfortable working on your board and have the tools, make sure to re-apply Loctite to the end of the screw when putting it back in. Another option is to take it to your local skate shop, they will have the tools and expertise to help you out.

If you’re running low on charge, you can go in the app and change the riding mode to conserve battery. Or you can push the flat parts of your journey, and save the power for tougher sections.
When plugged into a wall, no. However, when the board is fully charged, don’t use the brakes for an extended period as this could over-charge the battery due the regenerative braking capabilities.
On any of the wheels that don’t contain hub motors, yes. You can use any 83mm wheels to replace them. For the hub motors we sell new shells that can be found here.
The motors themselves, no. However, you can purchase new shells for the motors if the wheel has reached the end of its life. If the motor needs replacing, and it’s still under warranty we will fix that for you.
Other than hub shells, you cannot replace any of the mechanical/electrical components. However, the non-powered wheels and trucks are normal skateboard parts, so can be customized to be whatever you want.
To use the remote, first off make sure it’s on. Then very carefully move the throttle forward to control the motion of the board. Once you’re in motion, pull the throttle backwards very slowly to apply the brakes.
If you know you’re not going to head out riding for a while, make sure to periodically charge your board to make sure the batteries don’t completely deplete.
